Terrace House, Cheras

The team at Three A’s Interior Design & Décor was referred this interior design project for this house that was about to be demolished and rebuilt. The client, who are business owners, wanted a specific theme for this house – oriental, incorporating elements of the far east into their home.

In discussion with the owners, it was highlighted that they would like specific wooden plaques with Chinese characters on them to be the focal point of two of the rooms. These plaques were obviously special to the owners and therefore the team created interior designs that would work with them in place.

Living area spaces were mapped out, and the details were put in place with 3D drawings to showcase how the rooms came together. In creating this concept, the team sourced for furniture that would work specifically with this theme — colour palettes and the incorporation of oriental elements. The end result was a home that was truly reflected the tastes of the couple.
